Professor Dr. Linda De Raeve specialised in dermatovenereology at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) and is an accredited dermatologist since 1984.
Since then she has been working at the Department of Dermatology of the Brussels University hospital (UZ Brussel) where she is Clinical Professor.
She has a particular interest in Pediatric Dermatology and Allergology and heads the Pediatric Dermatology Unit at UZ Brussels. Her doctorate in Medical Sciences (Ph.D.) is concerned with the treatment of giant congenital naevi.
She is internationally recognized for the contributions in the field of dermatology. She is author of several chapters in international textbooks of Dermatology and has numerous publications in international journals.
She is often invited as speaker and chairman at national and international congresses and has given more than 400 lectures. She is also reviewer of several international journals of Dermatology.
